iPhone glitch with coop app
Have been using coop app for a while now and have always found the app to be clunky and annoying. Even so the delivery has been ok until last night. After the order email confirmation arrived I got another to say my order was being picked. Then I got an email saying that because they were busy the order would be late. 3 hours after the deadline I managed to get through to customer service. Apparently they had no address to deliver to. The app doesn’t seem to recognise me even though I am signed in. It always asks for my address. I was told that there is an IPhone glitch that will not allow autofill. My problem with this is that my order still went through and payment was processed but they had no idea who to deliver to. Secondly I did it via the app so they must have had my customer number and yet no one contacted me to ask for my address. How is any of this possible? Third, why is it so difficult to find a number for coop customers service. It should be on the app making it easy to correct any flaws in their system. Come on coop we know you can’t run an events stadium but delivering food locally must be easier than this. Moral is… Don’t use iPhone autofill and write your address manually if it asks you to fill in your details or just go to the nearest store and avoid the app.
