Vessi Footwear

This is not a shoe for serious walkers.
The shoes use a fabric that is breathable, which is good but it stretches out quickly. It starts out being very difficult to put on if you are wearing socks. But within a month, they slide on easily as they start to stretch. The biggest issue is with walking. You cannot walk up hills without the shoe sliding at the heel. The fabric stretches and does not keep your foot in place. As someone who is out walking her dog four times a day, the fabric stretched out within a month. And walking up and down hills became harder and harder as the shoe starts slipping on the heel. Pros: Shoe is waterproof Shoe is lightweight Cons: Shoe is difficult to get on initially Shoe fabric is not sturdy enough Shoe slides around when walking up and down hills Shoe does not last. The shoe sole is thin so you feel every rock you are on. One month after purchase and the shoes are loose, slide around and don't last. If you want a shoe to wear out to lunch or maybe to the mall then this is your shoe. But this is most definitely not a walking shoe. I also noticed that on the Vessi site, you can only post a review if they let you. When they emailed me and asked if I loved the shoe and I responded with no, I was not allowed to write my review on their site. So the Vessi support team get back to me and tell me I should buy a different pair of their shoes that costs double what I paid for my shoes. They don't offer a refund on the first pair and they don't even offer a discount to entice me to pay more money to test out another pair of their shoes. If you are buying Vessi shoes, you should definitely wear them inside a few times and walk up and down stairs so you can decide if you want to keep them. The second you walk outside, you cannot return them.
