A great first session
A great first session! As a late enrollee, I didn't have the chance to feel apprehensive as my focus had been on completing everything that was necessary to start. This did mean that I hadn't had a chance to be fully organised or do the pre-reading. Despite this I enjoyed the first session and learnt enough to make me keen to continue. The pace was good but not rushed and the tutor was organised, knowledgeable but still welcoming. She provided an overview of expectations and what was to come in such a way as to make the rigour of the course clear without it appearing to be overwhelming. Meeting the other students was great and people brought a range of backgrounds and experiences. Our study group have arranged our first meet-up and I'm really looking forward to it. The experience would have been even better in a larger room. We were too squashed together! I would have felt more relaxed if the Chrysalis admin had asked everyone to do a lateral flow test the morning or evening before the session.
