I have been a Marriott Owner for over 20 years and the customer service has gone down the tubes. You can never get the resort room you want during the time you want. Also, if you traded in for points for Marriott hotels, you get approximately three days at a hotel for a week of vacation club points. When we bought the vacation club, they said they would be adding many more Marriott vacation club resorts, which they have never done. They now are part of Bonvoy, which are other vacation clubs, but it cost twice as much points to use the other resorts. Not only that, but the maintenance fees have gone up 25%. we pay $6650 a year for one week every year and one week every other year. I can take a pretty amazing vacation for that amount of money so do not waste your money because the maintenance fees are outrageous and they can just raise the cost 25% Every year if they want. Do not buy Marriott vacation club whatever you do.
