booked an SUV (Jeep Renegade or…

booked an SUV (Jeep Renegade or similar) over two months before our family trip - Treviso Airport Italy. upon arriving to the desk after a long flight with two young children, Sixt give me a small hatchback (BMW Series 1) - which is not big enough for our luggage, and is not in any sense 'similar' to a Jeep or any SUV I'm aware of. I returned to the desk immediately - but was told I would have to pay extra if I wanted a bigger car. Polite service, but useless and clearly not caring for the customer in any way. Returned again in the morning to again ask what could be done. After a few phone calls, the response was the same: pay more if you want a car that matches the one you actually booked. Now we are on our two week family trip in a small hatchback that barely fits our luggage. will not use sixt again, and will tell everyone to beware, especially if you are travelling with a family. they are not a family friendly company and show very little care for the customer. I would try one of the other providers next time - don't be fooled like I was!
