Still angry about this one
Stayed at Clayton Hotel by Facebook Office in Dublin. No water bottles provided. Had to use vending machine that was a NIGHTMARE to use. You can't use american credit cards and I did not have many Euro coins. Next issue, had left toothbrush behind. I was told no toothbrushes or water since covid "b/c of the environment". Ended up going out to buy brush at around midnight and it cost about a Euro for 2 at the Spar. 5 /10 minute walk, cold, raining, groups of lads hanging around, strong smell of weed. Don't know the area, but did not appreciate a night walk in a strange (to me) city centre and felt unsafe. IHG, Radisson and Hilton put bottles in the room. Also they give you a brush comp. if you leave yours behind. Its easy to put tap water in a reusable glass bottle and brushes can be biodegradable. Or you can sell them at front desk.
