Shannon Taylor was amazing

My solicitor Shannon Taylor was amazing. She called me and emailed me about every step that I needed to know. She was transparent and explained everything in the process. However our seller had a solicitor from the same firm and they didn't really do the job well. Luckily we managed to have a conversation with our seller, so we resolved the issues, as they got different information from their solicitor than I got from Shannon. The firm has so many hidden fees. £155 for completing within 3 days from exchange...£175 for keeping my money after a sale for a year, if any lease related cost pops up.

5th month still not completed

My buyer is using this firm and the whole chain is waiting for them. They needed over a month to start raising enquiries. My solicitor always answered them within 48 hours,but reviewing the replies takes ages for Talbots law. We are in month 5. Last enquiries was sent across after over 2 weeks waiting with important questions like how big is the shed on the yard. They are well aware that all chain is ready to move and now they are sending the contract to my buyer with incorrect property price. They don’t answer the phones or emails to my estate agent or if they do,they are leaving rude comments as it happened today. My estate agent sent them an email,asking to review our answers and the response was they received it an hour ago. This is a lie. And they say hopefully we can complete in this month?!It’s 3rd of June and everyone is waiting for this firm. Please avoid them as a buyer and as a seller! Unnecessary stress in our life.
