Absolute joke if a valuation!
They called and made a quite sensible offer, only to retract it because of where I live (which is not at all out of the way). They then emailed saying they’d still like to buy it but at a third of the previous offer!!! Absolute joke of a process and valuation. Follow up: I did receive a later call, reasonably explaining that this was because of the age of the car, meaning they would need to transport it rather than drive it and that they only have 6 collection locations across the country, but that doesn’t change the disconnect between the offer call and the emailed offer. The car is a good runner with an MOT so the reason they wouldn’t drive it isn’t obvious.
