The price of water babies is going up!
The price of water babies was already high when we started, but we wanted our baby to be water confident. We have given it a go, but the price per session is far too expensive for the average Joe to keep up with each month, especially now that it is going up. You say you want all children to be able to learn to swim from an early age, but to do this and be on maternity leave is too much money. The dive centre at Boldon is very busy and quite stressful. People do not respect the not going into the changing room before the class before you are out. The other day, the 11 o'clock class was putting their bags into the changing room from 20 to and setting themselves up before the baby session at 10.30 had finished. The babies need space for mats and to be changed quickly. This is not acceptable. There should a 15 minute gap in between each lesson to allow for a change over. Also, I knew that there would be a fee for the under water photo, but to make you feel like your missing out as your baby has learnt how to swim underwater and then put a fee of 80 90 pound for 1 photo Is just exploting parents. You can just put any old fee on it because you know you can get it. I'm so annoyed at that. I couldn't afford that massive fee for a photo of what my daughter has learnt in the lessons and have already paid a large amount per session for. I wouldn't have minded paying for a photo but the 80 90 pound price tag is extortionate. Especially when your getting that from each family. I work hard to pay my way in life and I couldn't wait to have my daughter and be able to do some swimming with her as as a couple we love the water. But I feel like I haven't been able to complete water babies like I wanted and I have left without being able to afford a photo. I'm so sad about this.
