They never compensated the (insured) damage.
We (company) sent a parcel fully insured. The parcel arrived damaged, beyond repair (80% lost), and customer returned the goods. We claimed insurance. First response was that it would take 4 months(!)... (not professional... according EU treaties it must be settled within 1 month). After 4 months, our file was lost..., and we had to sent everything again. The loss adjuster (from UPS) approved the damage, but ParcelABC minimized damage (their own personal opinion - and did not appoint an own loss adjuster). 40 mails later, it was clear that they did not wanted to pay, and lost track of their own "stories". They wanted us to agree to partial refund (exactly the part UPS pays in such cases.. which we accepted as a start. All looked like they never would pay) We send a registered letter to claim the total amount + interest + extra costs we made. No reaction. It was clear to us they did not insured the parcel, and did not wanted to pay the rightful amount. Again 3 months later, they said they can only pay when we would hand over the goods(???) We only claimed 80% of the value + they do not have the right to claim damaged goods. (They wanted to acquire goods in an illegal way?!) Again 40 emails later they closed one sided the case (on 18/7/2034 - 16 months after incident), saying we did not agree on their proposal. (Which was to handover the goods to parcelABC, which were repaired in the mean time, and sent back to customer - ridiculous, +just not legal - I'm a loss adjuster, so I'm quite sure how things have to go) Unprofessional company, not suited for company services, only for cheap goods. Commercially poor: we sent all our parcels over their services, not any more...) Always friendly, just to get you to accept a too low amount.
