The lead pipe replacement team who came to my house today were fast, efficient and tidy Colin and Danny removed 7 blocks from my drive next to the meter on footpath and put the mole in and off it went towards the house in no time at all it traveled 7 meters and appeared in the small hole they had made under the subfloor inside the house and then in minutes the new 25mm MDPE was installed the water to the house seemed to be off for 15 minutes and then it was all back on, the whole operation from arrival to departure was a couple of hours the re-instatement to block paving was invisible In my mind this was worth every penny that I paid for it the speed and that fact the whole driveway remained undisturbed This job might have taken a couple of days if a cut and cover installation had been used and having to reinstate all the block paving
