I booked a hotel close to a ski…
I booked a hotel close to a ski mountain in NY on Tablet and received a confirmation. So I went ahead and booked non-refundable lift tickets and lessons on the mountain. Lo and behold, I receive another email saying they are very sorry, but the hotel is apparently overbooked and they cannot accommodate my reservation. As an "alternative," I was offered a room in a hotel in Pennsylvania!! WHAT? As a consolation, I was given a free one-year membership to Tablet, which I assure I will NEVER use. Awful.
