Con artists

After using this company for several years without any issues they have gone down hill big time . Twice now on collecting the car the fuel tank has not been full even tho we have paid the full to full policy . We have complained and taken pictures but the company is not interested . The most recent time we have used them we have a charge for €40 on our card 2 weeks after returning the car . There was nothing wrong with the car upon returning it and all the paperwork had been signed off. No email or explanation as to what the charge was for. We are in dispute with it now . So not only have we been robbed with the extra fuel we’ve had to pay for twice ,we’ve now got a charge for something we have no idea about . It’s theft !!!

Not worth the money

We stayed at the malmaison York . First I would like to stay that the staff are lovely and friendly and the breakfast was fabulous but that’s where is ends . We got to our room which had been upgraded to a club room from standard . The room was quite small and dark . The carpet had stains on it and the plug hole in the sink was broken so no chance of filling the sink up . The plastic beaker for rinsing your mouth out was filthy with the remains of someone else’s toothpaste in it . When we made a cup of tea the milk was off and curdled in the cup . The TV didn’t work , neither did our lift pass so we ended up taking the stairs which were covered in dust . There is clearly a housekeeping issue with the hotel . Really not worth the £279 for the 1 night . First stay at this hotel and probably the last .
