Unfortunately Never Again.
We decided to use Homerental to rent our apartment for peace of mind while we were traveling overseas. The onboarding process and finding a tenant was a great experience and we were happy to welcome a new family into our home. That's why this review has two stars instead of one. Once the tenant moved in they became unsupportive and unhelpful. They made no effort to find a replacement tenant when the contract was terminated early and told us to use Blocket instead. Once the tenant moved out we began finding missing and broken items. When we inquired about these items they took the tenant's word over ours. Of course, when you rent a home there are always risks involved but we chose to use Homerental because we believed that they would support us when issues arose. How we feel as customers is that they made profit from renting our home but the services provided did not come close to meeting the value of the money they earned off the property. Unfortunately we won't be using their services in the future. Perhaps your experience will be different but I'd rather follow their recommendation and use Blocket instead.
