Had a hire car from Budget at Knock Airport from 7th -14th June, Pick-up process at the desk was quick and easy, with all staff very supportive, helpful and polite. On Friday 9th while driving from Westport to Knock my hire car broke down on the N5 bypass Castlebar, I managed to get safely into the emergency lay-by. Contacted Budget to make them aware on my situation and rang Suzuki Breakdown at 6 p.m. my breakdown was classed as Urgent and Priority and was informed I would receive a call from the Breakdown Company. I did not receive a call back from them for over 2 hours. In the meantime Budget employee at Knock Airport, Kevin Jennings was in regular contact, he went above and beyond to support me, he was working until 8 p.m. he then took the time after work to bring me a new rental car and ensure my safe onward journey to Knock. I was so grateful to Kevin for his support and kindness. I will not hesitate booking with Budget Car Rental on future trips to Knock.
