Challenging but Valuable – Best for Those with a Strong Math Foundation
I recently completed this online training program, and while I appreciate the depth of the material, I found it significantly more advanced than I expected. The course heavily relied on mathematical concepts, including statistics and equations, which I had little to no foundational knowledge in. This made it overwhelming early on, and I found myself spending too much time trying to grasp the math instead of absorbing the core concepts. As a result, I felt a bit unmotivated at times and struggled to keep up. I also underestimated the time commitment required. Given my challenges with the material, I wish I had more time to fully understand and engage with it. While I initially expected more guidance, I found it difficult to ask for help because I didn’t even know where to start—I was too busy just trying to keep pace. The live sessions were informative, but they didn’t feel particularly engaging. There wasn’t much opportunity to ask questions during the sessions, and while there were other ways to interact with the mentor, I personally found it challenging to take advantage of them. That said, the mentor was available and willing to help, so the lack of engagement wasn’t anyone’s fault—just a personal hurdle for me. The platform itself was another struggle. The app was not very user-friendly, and while they did release a new version with slight improvements, technical difficulties still drained my time and energy, which further impacted my progress. On a positive note, the program coordinators were incredibly kind, supportive, and always available, which I truly appreciated. If that same level of support extended to the instructor, it would have made a big difference for me. Overall, I think this course is well-structured and beneficial for those with a solid foundation in math and statistics. Unfortunately, without that background, it was a difficult experience for me. If you're considering this training, I’d highly recommend ensuring you have the necessary prerequisites to fully take advantage of what it offers.
