Was initially happy with the service I received from my conveyancer but the administrative side of things was not good. Had to panic transfer 1k on completion day that hadn’t been accounted for, and 4 months after moving in was notified I owed £660 to the company as they had missed a fee as a disbursement. This meant that my retention fee had been withheld. They were then uncooperative when I informed them that randomly asking for £660 in the middle of January wasn’t exactly an ideal request and when I suggested a payment plan, or JS Law making the payment to my previous co freeholders solicitor and I would pay them back. Really disappointing and caused me a lot of stress when I thought the situation was all tied up.
