Horrible
Hello. My name is Jazmine. On June 7th, 2019 I attempted to book round trip flights from Philadelphia International Airport to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and back to the Philadelphia International Airport. Initially my trip dates were June 18th, 2019-June24th, 2019. Initially I attempted to book twice online and I was unsuccessful because the initial flight had been booked up by the time I was finished, so I gave Travelocity a call to book the trip through you guys to ensure everything was done properly. I was on the phone with 2 different Travelocity representatives for 1 hour and 48 minutes beginning at 10:19 a.m. The first representative attempted to find alternatives for my trip and we switched around my dates trying to keep the cost of the flight as close as possible to the flight that I initially was trying to book, which was $205.00 total round trip. We tried different alternatives to no avail. I was redirected to a customer service representative because the round trip flight that was book had a problem. The outgoing flight to Atlanta was confirmed by Frontier, but the incoming flight back to Philadelphia was not confirmed by Spirit. The customer service representative was very nice. We agreed that it was best to book a separate flight, so that is what we did. We attempted numerous charges on my VISA card for multiple reasons. The system was slow or a flight became fully booked as she attempted to book. There was finally a flight from Atlanta to Philadelphia which had an overlay in Detroit for the morning of June 25th, 2018 at 8:22 a.m. I confirmed numerous times that the flight had an overlay in Detroit. The flight that was chosen was a flight from Atlanta to Detroit and not an overlay flight from Atlanta to Detroit to Philadelphia. There also was a $25 reimbursement/credit adjustment to my bank account from Travelocity for the difference in the flight that I was initially supposed to pay and what I actually ended up paying. I also have email confirmation of that transaction from Travelocity. It has been over the 24 hours since I’ve booked my flight. They are trying to charge me $150-300 to change my flight when their representative is the one who made the error by choosing the wrong flight. I do not live in Detroit nor do I have extra funds to pay more money to get this error rectified. I will be coming back from a funeral in Atlanta. I do not need these types of errors to occur right now in my life. Also, when I spoke to a representative today on June 9th, 2019 the representative told me that my incoming flight confirmation number was nonexistent and that I never spoke to nor booked my flight through Travelocity. I have email confirmation that I absolutely did so I am unsure why she would lie to me when I spent almost two hours on the phone trying to book my flights. Something weird is going on and I recently had a death in my family. I don’t have the time, energy, nor funds for things like this to happen right now. Something needs to be done immediately because I am going to the funeral in Atlanta and I need to be able to get home without any issues. This is ridiculous!!! I will never use their service ever again.
