Bad service, bad cars.
I rented a car from Dublin Airport on 10/04/2024 and as my bookings stated that the car could be collected from the airport arrivals hall but in fact we needed to take a shuttle bus to the rental center, the incorrect information was causing unnecessary stress. I booked a medium sized car like a VW Golf but was given a Seat Arona and it's a small car (I work in car rental myself and know what I'm talking about), the pick up service was fast but no information was provided. (for example about tolls or return points). The Seat Arona was very dirty with a big brown stain on the front seat so I gave up on the car and when I told the staff member she said I didn't know anything about the car and that was strange because the staff should to know what they give out to clients, in the end they changed my car to a Toyota Corolla that was not washed and filled with less than half a tank of gasoline. No one at the counter offered full insurance and when I asked for it the price of 35 euros was completely different from what I had been told earlier on the phone of 24 euros (I called). The quality of the car leaves much to be desired, it is not stable on the road, at a speed of 100 km/h it always goes to the right, it is difficult to keep the car on the road. The return of the car was quick. I was under the impression that this company doesn't care if I can drive this car safely. In 5 minutes they have received payment, given the keys and they don’t care what happens next.
