Stay away from Dixons Bearwood

Sorry this review is delibrately long to give you an accurate and full picture! My experience with this agency in particular the Bearwood (Birmingham) branch was a terrible one, they functioned like a systematic gang working together with the landlord and checkout inspector to rip me off on multiple occasions, systematic because my post-experience incentive and the fabricated evidence during deposit dispute suggested that they work with third parties (such as cleaners and checkout inspectors) to rip off tenants. This should not be acceptable in a responsible society like UK and should be treated unlawful like theft. Their reputation with everyone who rented from them is lamental. You are guaranteed to regret renting from this agency. Please stay away!!! This kind of businesses only deserve to learn the conduct of decency in the hard way, that is to drown in debts and thereby close down permanently. On the day of viewing when I decided to submit the holding deposit I caught their first attempt to rip me off for the amount of £350 on papers that had to be scrapped upon digging to enquire about its source, and all the explanation they gave was a calculation mistake. During the period of tenancy their circle of communication to approve and get an essential fixing done is an infinite loophole, they basically exhaust you to give up asking instead go and fix it by yourself for which you are later to be fined too since they will treat it as a deviation from the inventory report. Yes! You understood correctly! Stage 1 (The Good) The agency officials played as the front bench "gang" by displaying to be nice and on my side, and convincing me to believe and listen to their recommendations for example I hired their nominated cleaner at the time of moving out. Subsequently arranged with their nominated check out inspector, basically they played it such that I followed their advice to the letter. After I moved out and handed in the keys, they completely abandon to communicate and cooperate with me regarding the deposit. Stage 2 (The Bad) The bad one is the check out inspector who filled the document from made up lies nothing inline with the original inventory report. Stage 3 (The Ugly) This was my landlord first attempted to refuse responding to my deposit enquiries until I had to raise dispute. Then he comes back with falsely fabricated documents and invoices claiming nearly 5 times more money than my original deposit. (Don't worry this time they met the wrong guy, the landlord learnt his lesson and I recovered my deposit!) But please watch out and take this review into your serious consideration before deciding to rent from Dixons Bearwood, unless you want to experience a guaranteed regret.
