What an awful entrapment experience…
What an awful entrapment experience with Lycamobile. Don't use this "service". We were traveling in Ireland and signed up for one month of Lycamobile's international coverage. Since then they have billed us monthly for the past six months! Regretfully I did not keep their information at the time of signup. This would have included a lycamobile phone number and a sim card number. I never used the service. Not once. With the recurring charges I tried to stop them on line. Can't get into my account without the phone number or sim card. (Though they have no trouble billing me.) I called them (keep in mind there is a huge time difference resulting repeatedly in "our office closed".). Ultimately they said I need to give them my full name, birthday, last four digits of the credit card, Lycamobile number, and SIM number. I sent all that I could but of course could not give the Lycamobile phone number or SIM. When finally I reached a live person he repeatedly told me he needed my lycomobile phone number before he could help me. I repeatedly told him I did not have the number or the sim card. He was on infinite automatic replay! Finally he said I could send recepts. I sent a copy of my credit card recepts. Then I got a scam like message from Lycamobile that they want "the last four digits of (my) credit card". Next line, they want the first six digits of my credit card! With this batantly offensive request I have now had to cancel my credit card to get a new number and stop lycamobile's stubborn, unethical billings and stonewalling. Terrible customer service, unethical billing, deliberate stonewalling , circular argumentation.
