Disgusting Treatment!
The treatment I have received from this company is so disgusting I feel sick in the pit of my stomache. I cannot believe this treatment goes on in modern society. I made a purchase on this site and paid extra for next day delivery. I was contacted later on that day via email after the deadline requesting that I provide a copy of my passport and proof of address. (Bit late but fair enough). I provided these as promptly as soon as I could. Upon calling this company to confirm they received it I was alerted to the fact that they use a virtual office service for all enquires I know this because I spoke to a multitude of so called receptionists based around the globe and one of them verbally confirmed my suspicions. Each time I called I was told the person in the email would call me back. I dicided to give up on this number and managed to find the number for their shop directly. I called this number and apparently the person who emailed me asking for Id has gone on holiday. No one apparently had any idea about my order and the director would call me back in 20 mins. This call did not happen. I called back and spoke to another rude member of staff who told me that she had just got off the phone to her bank and that they had spoken to my bank and that they told her that fraud had occured. Immediately I called my bank and my bank told me nothing of the sort has been said. Complete fiction and even if this was the case my bank would never disclose such information. I called back iconic and the lady basically changed her story contradicting herself so many times it was unbelievable. Mid conversation a very agressive older lady took over the conversation. This lady told me that she had performed her own checks and that I am not listed at my address as paying council tax and that she has her own ways of checking things. (Clearly illegal underhand tactics without permission). I was told that my order was "going nowhere" and the money would be refunded to my card within 3 working days. This company has treated me in a horrendous manner, as if I was a criminal for attempting to purchase from them. There is no way in this world I have been the only one treated like this especially with these inaccurate tactics they use. Their communication is appalling. Not once did they pick up the phone to call me. Not once did they offer me an alternate method of payment. The old lady claimed she is excellent at her job and great in business l. I doubt this can be the case if the treat customers like this. It is scary to think that people like this have all your information including copies of your identification & have Big Brother system where they apparently can analyse you whole life. Be warned!
