The Energy Ombudsman is a waste of time.
We have had a case open with the Ombudsman for almost 2 years. They have closed the case twice despite non-compliance by the energy supplier - and having upheld our case in full. It has been a waste of time in my experience, and we have now decided to instruct our own legal team to try and help us reach resolution. Not worth the headache in my opinion.
