Unresponsive customer service and old stock
My kettle has an American plug with a UK conversion plug supplied, which is bulky and unattractive. The kettle boils very slowly and makes a loud banging noise while boiling. When trying to register the warranty with De’Longhi, I found that the model is a predecessor to the current version—none of which was detailed on the website when purchasing. As a result, I am unable to register the warranty. I have emailed Coffee Friend, and although the automated reply stated they would respond within a couple of hours, I am still waiting for a reply three days later. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this company and will not use them again.
