Misleading Referral Program
I referred a friend to Lebara through their referral program, which clearly stated I’d receive up to £50 after 60 days of the friend using the service. My friend signed up on 3rd April 2025, paid, and actively used it for over 90 days — meeting all advertised requirements. Yet over 100 days later, I still haven’t received the reward. Customer service later mentioned a hidden “30-day lock-in” after the 60 days — never disclosed in the promotional material or dashboard. That extended period has also passed, with no payment. This feels like intentional stalling or shifting the goalposts. If you're considering referring someone, be cautious — the terms they advertise may not reflect what they actually follow.
