AVOID PANEK whatever it takes
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Panek car rental. Upon arrival, we were not given a paper contract, which raised immediate concerns about transparency. We were then forced to pay for the full insurance coverage without it being documented anywhere, supposedly because we needed to cross the border between Poland and Slovakia. The option to simply cancel the reservation was repeatedly suggested, which felt like a coercive tactic. To add insult to injury, we ended up paying 600 euros for 7 days for the lowest tier car available. This entire experience felt like a genuine scam. Avoid Panek at all costs!
