My insurance had changed since my last Teladoc appt and I was not able to update it at all myself so I had to call. While the lady was extremely helpful and polite, I was hesitant to give her all my personal information because she was setting up a new profile for me, password and all and I was a little skeptical it was phony and my information was going somewhere else. I feel that process should be different to make the patient feel confident setting up a profile with sensitive information on their own.
