Overall my son tells me he had a wonderful experience seeing parts of the world that he’s never seen, but he said there were some issues at one of the hotels they were we’re staying at. He says that things were broken, the plumbing was backed up and flooding in the shower, and there was a mouse in one of the rooms. As a parent it’s hard enough to let your child travel a world away without you, but knowing you put them in a hotel that was less than up to par scares me. He tells me he called to complain and share his concerns and he wasn’t taken seriously, it makes me second guess letting him go on the next trip.
