HRN took much of the stress out of a traumatic few weeks.
I had a phone call from my mother-in-law to say she had arrived home from a weekend away to discover the ceiling coming down in her main bedroom and the carpet soaked. On investigation it transpired that some very stormy weather while she was away had caused water ingress from the roof. As she is 80 years old and prone to panic and anxiety, I took over the administration of the insurance claim and Churchill told me that Home Repair Network would be in touch to assess and deal with the claim. From start to finish their service has been exemplary. Gemma took over the file and kept me posted at all times. She arranged for an assessor to look at the damage and, although other issues turned up after he submitted his report, she instructed a local building services company to carry out their own review and subsequently sanctioned the additional work. To their credit, the local company were very sensitive to the needs of my mother-in-law and were courteous and efficient throughout. When they had finished the work, Gemma was quickly in contact to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. At a stressful time for the family, I cannot fault the service provided by Gemma at HRN nor the care and attention of the local building company. Both organisations helped enormously to make a difficult few weeks much more tolerable. Well done to both!
