Wife and I have transferred our Discover accounts to Happen Bank
My wife and I both have savings accounts with discover, Discover were bought out by Capital one, and are going through transfers. We decided to move our money to Happen Bank in case there are problems, accounts getting locked, money frozen or whatever. So far it's been great, Happen Bank does take a week to move money, from there website this is done to all accounts that are less than 30 days old. Not really a big deal right now, as we don't need the money at this time and have successfully moved a good deal of money to Happen Bank. My final amount is scheduled to move next week, and so is my wife's. After the 10th our accounts will be beyond the 30 day limit at that time we can see if moving money between accounts, time has decreased. I also transferred my direct deposit from discover checking account to Happen Bank Savings account, I did this so the $250 is deposited every month to maintain the higher interest rate. The app is easy to use, and setting up the accounts were easy. So far we are happy will Happen Bank, again after the 10th if money transfers go through quickly without the 7 day hold we will be very happy with Happen Bank.
