Bank has gone downhill…

Have to say this bank has gone downhill. When it opened it sold itself as a new bank offering exceptional customer service and longer opening hours to suit all. Most branches are now shut on weekends and they all open minimal hours on weekdays. The queues get longer every time I have the misfortune of having to go in the branch. The queue yesterday went out the door and there was 1 staff member on the counter and 1 dealing with other queries at a table. A further 2 staff were sat at the end of the counter getting ready to go home for the weekend and not interested in dealing with the queue of around 10 customers along with around 6 more waiting on the seats to see someone. One customer waited patiently for his turn before being told he couldn't be helped today as it would take then beyond their closing time. When he spoke to a senior staff member about this, he was basically told tough and to speak to their banking relationship manager. Another lady spoke to the same welcoming member of staff and was told 'you're in a queue, you'll just have to wait'. Do yourself a favour and just open an account with one of the existing banks that, at least, don't pretend t be anything other than bad!
