Allora Herringbone SPC Click LVT
I purchased the Woodland Oak Allora Herringbone SPC Click LVT Flooring after seeing a sample. I had hoped to get a fitter, but I could not find one that would install this floor. I should have sent it back at this point for a refund, but I am a competent DIYer, so decided to fit myself. I spoke to someone in Wilsons carpets (Same business) about this floor and they assured me that it can be fitter by a competent DIYer. I thought this floor would be perfect for my home because it is hard wearing and water resistant. Unfortunately it was impossible to fit, the tong and grove are very thin and crack very easily. I have wasted many boards during the install. The finished floor is already damaged where the tong and grove has cracked. Now I understand why a fitter would not touch it. My subfloor is flat, I took a great deal of time laying plywood and screening to ensure a flat surface, because I understandhow importantthis is. I am very disappointed and I have wasted my money. Your website should include accurate customer reviews, I notice I could not leave a review on the product, to help other customers. I also noticed the reviews on the website were all positive, clearly picked for this reason. I will have to replace this floor at an additional expense. I think this floor is very poor quality and impossible for even a competent DIYer. I was also recommend that threshold strip with this floor, the colour was completely different and would have looked really odd if I had of used it. Edit - There were no manufacturers instructions with this product. I did look online but could not find any directly relating to this product.
