Flight changes without notice and after taking the money.

We booked the flight and hotel package along with the hotel to visit Makka on the 16th November 24 Despite the fact I could book the hotel and flights direct and the cost was similar but decided to book with Southall as they matched the prices. Having agreed the flight schedule and after paying the full amount on 16th November we are now told on 10th December that our flight from Medina to Dubai via Jedda has changed from 12.35 am to 5.30am with stay over in Jeddah 5 hours 20 minutes instead of short stay one hour 20 minutes. I have called them several times without getting a call back or resolution. Just spoken to somebody who is covering Leo I am told that Southall Travel can’t do anything as the Airline has changed the flight timings. I have yet to confirm if that is the case. I am told that we have no option but to accept the very early hours flight with long stay in Jeddah. I have told them that I paid good money to travel at sensible time so we need to have that problem fixed either with Saudi Airline or any other airline line at their own cost. If the seats or flight was not available then they should not have sold the flight to us. I got the response that they cannot do anything as the air line has change the timings. I believe they sold me tickets for the flight when they did not have any seats allocation. In any case I am Southall Travel Customer and not Saudi Airline so I have asked them to sort out the problem. I find the attitude is such that we got your money and we don’t care about you. Terrible service where they are not looking after their customers but only minding their own bottom line. I have had similar problem previously where I paid for hotel stay for 7 nights and they then changed the hotel and I ended up going there two days late I then asked them to extend the stay for 7 nights as I paid for 7. They never did anything despite calling on many occasions from the hotel. I ended up paying for the two nights at the hotel. They kept on telling me that there are no rooms available when that was not the case as I am in the hotel and they had the rooms available. I ended up up paying 900 AED in Dubai and they never refunded any monies. Their performance so far has been less than satisfactory. I will never deal with them again. I suggest all to be sure that they give you what you paid for and this is certainly not the case with us.
