Good holiday nightmare booking

Firstly I must say that the holiday went very smoothly all the guides,drivers and hotels were very good. The problems I encountered were before we left and all because are agent with Southall Travel was either incompetent or just couldn’t care. The flight from Jaipur to Goa was cancelled, I asked our agent Zu (not his full name) to book us on the only other direct flight that day he said he would and send the confirmation,over the next two weeks I repeatedly asked for the confirmation every time he said the flight was booked and he would send the confirmation but never did. Eventually I rang and spoke to a different agent who did send the documents but the flight had only been booked the day before,I don’t like being lied to Not long before the holiday Zu said our flight from Doha to Delhi had been cancelled but he had booked us on another flight which meant a very long wait in Doha When I checked the original flight was still available I asked Zu what was going on he didn’t have any answers again this situation dragged on and on (the rescheduled flight was £300 cheaper I don’t know if this had something to do with it) everyday he said he would sort it but never did I rang Southall and asked to speak to a supervisor when I explained what was happening and I told her I wanted to deal with a different agent she said she would call me the next day I did get a call but from Zu who surprisingly had managed to book us back on to the original flight he had no apology or explanation he was just a nightmare to deal with As I said at the start once the holiday started everything was great I don’t know if we were just unlucky to get Zu as our agent but he certainly made booking the holiday very stressful and stop us from booking with Southall Travel in the future
