Response to Delayed Delivery
On 10 January I contacted their Swiss office (Swiss Point of Care) who advised that I could purchase a Cholesterol testing machine from their UK office. The listing made it clear that the order would not be available for 2 weeks, which was acceptable and I placed an order the same day. Now just after 2 weeks I am being told that it is delayed and will be a further 2 weeks. On the positive side the staff are always very helpful. I will update this review with details of what transpires. 26/01/2024 Update. Thank you for your reply. A pertinent question would be Why am I in a rush for this machine? A year after my heart attack I found out that having a very low Cholesterol is dangerous and mine was very low. I halved my statin dose and want to find out where my cholesterol levels are now. I will be going on holiday shortly and wish to know where I stand before I go. 15/02/2024 Update. Despite my ramblings above (edited) Medical Supermarket (MS) remained completely calm and professional in their responses. Amanda assured me that she would keep track of my order and update me of progress, which she did to the letter. The machine was received by MS on the revised date and sent on to me to arrive when I returned from my holidays. Although I was unable to achieve all of my goals I should consider my own (over) reaction to an unfortunate delay. As such I have revised my rating to reflect the real performance of Medical Supermarket. A company can show their real metal when things don't go quite to plan and in that regard MS have come out on top. I would be pleased to order from MS again, whether they would want me as a customer is another question. Furthermore, MS did not ask me to amend this review.
