Full of scammers and no support…
Full of scammers and no support provided I found a rental property on right move, went for a viewing and proceeded to put in an offer. Everything seemed typical as I’ve moved flats a number of times in the last few years so I completed referencing with through the agent listed on rightmove, signed a tenancy agreement and paid a deposit and partial rent ahead of the move in date. The listing turned out to be a scam and I reported it to action fraud and my bank. Upon reporting to rightmove, they provided zero support and refused to take any accountability for the scammers that used their supposedly ‘legitimate’ platform to facilitate their scams. Avoid using it at all costs and be aware that you could fall prey to a scam if you use rightmove as scammers are rife on the platform!!!
