Nothing short of miraculous
Nothing short of miraculous. When I first heard about Carda's pulmonary therapy I wasn't sure it would help. I'd been dealing with several specialists for cardiac, pulmonary and autonomic nervous system disorders. Each specialist said his area wasn't the problem. They were from different practices and wouldn't talk to each other. Yet, even though they each said I "was fine" I couldn't walk more than 5 feet w/out becoming very short of breathe, having palpitations, dizzy all the time and basically bedridden for over a year. I finally started to look for ways to take my life back. After researching Carda, I was pretty sure it wouldn't hurt me and if it didn't help, I'd be no worse off than I had been. But if I did my best and tried to complete the program as directed, and it WORKED, I'd be that much closer to regaining my life back. It wasn't without bumps in the road; I had several instances when I had to take a few sessions or a few weeks off to address an immediate health issue. My pulmonary therapist, Emily, was so supportive every step of the way, I looked forward to resolving whatever issue slowed me down so I could get back at it. Although it took a almost six months to complete the first 12 wks, she never gave up on me and in turn inspired me to not give up on myself. I'll never be able to do the things I could do twenty years ago but I no longer doubt that I can keep improving to make each day a little better than the one before. I'm convinced I still have a lot of living to do. I can't wait to get started with Phase III so that I'll be in better shape to do so. Emily was very instrumental in helping me to get the most out of each set of exercises and how to adapt various exercises that would have been dangerous for me as demonstrated by the on screen trainer; because of concurrent preexisting conditions. I plan to recommend this program to several relatives with severe respiratory problems who also feel like their doctors have been playing " kick the can" with their health.
