Not a helpful site for sellers

Emailed rightmove to ask if there was any chance the date listed could be changed as my property had previously sold and then the sale fell through. Advised by estate agent that not enough time had passed so they couldn't do anything. Not happy with the response from rightmove stating that the only way this could be changed is if the property was marked as 'sold stc' for over 7 wks and they needed notifying within 5 working days - I only discovered this was an option 2 months later after speaking to a friend! They also had the cheek to suggest I reduce my price by 2%! My house is still on sale and I believe it is being affected by rightmove's 'date first listed' (6th Apr) as people will be looking at that and assuming there is something wrong with my property. We are now getting ridiculous offers from people who see that as an opportunity to negotiate a much lower price. Not a very helpful site for genuine people trying to sell their house!
