THE WORST COMPANY FOR PAYMENTS
If I could I would give this company negative stars. I opened my payoneer account when I lived in Taiwan, It was dormant and then I moved back to my country South Africa. I have never transacted with them, while updating my details my old ID book was accepted, I then logged into my profile and was asked for more verification, I also didn't really know what i was doing on the "receiving payments prompts"and perhaps i clicked the wrong button. I also uploaded my OLD ID book, perhaps because South Africa is upgrading to Smart ID's it was flagged? I also uploaded a copy of my passport, but didn't realise it had recently expired! Suddently after uploading I was BANNED COMPLETELY. what the hell ? I called the USA from South Africa, I emailed and opened up ticket after ticket, allI got was the same generic answer that I violated some kind of terms and agreements. No matter how many times I pleaded my case that my new job ONLY accepted Payoneer as a method of payment, they still gave me the generic cold heartless answer. When looking online i see that MANY people have had a bad experience with Payoneer ,and this company and payment platform seem volatile and unstable, even when people have been using them for years and their salaries are with held. its ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that in this day an age there is absolutely NO room for human error or even mistakes even though I HAD NEVER sent or recieved money from Payoneer. I was only trying to setup my account and now i am completely banned FOREVER. Honestly, this company is just stupid and incredibly hostile with TERRIBLE customer service and I would not reccommend them AT ALL!
