Usually I order Chinese or pizza for the availability of delivery or I order online and go pick it up. Tonight I did not have my car and my kiddos didn't want pizza so I thought I would give delivery.com a shot. I ordered my food online and received an order confirmation. A little later I was called and informed the restaurant didn't have ice cream so I just had them remove it from the order. I ordered at 7:20 pm and received an an email at 8:12 pm stating that my order was on its way. I waited and waited and called at 8:42 and was informed the driver was at the restaurant waiting on my food. I got upset and called the restaurant to inquire about this. The restaurant closed at 8 pm. I am curious how at 8:12 pm the food was "on it's way". I called back at 9:05 pm to demand a refund in full because I still had not received my food and the guy I talked to said he could just give me a $10 credit towards my next order...how am I going to pay $30 for food that I NEVER received, not get a refund and a $10 credit for next time!?! I told him it is fraud to run a card for an item that is not delivered. I called back and demanded a refund for the full amount and this time I got to talk to a nice woman who sounded like she cared what I had to say. I got my order cancelled and am suppose to receive a refund in the next 1-5 days, but we will see...all they did was tell blatant lies. They also offered me a discount and I turned it down because I will never use them again!
