Company will not help if order is lost in the mail

I ordered two premium December Japan Crates. My son and daughter have separate accounts. My daughter's crate arrived within 10 days; my son's crate was never shipped or lost in the mail. These were supposed to be Christmas gifts. My husband and I are unemployed due to our business closing due to COVID. I have contacted Japan Crate multiple times. Every time I receive a canned response that I should receive the crate within ten days of my order. I need the money back so I can purchase a different gift for my son. I don't know what to do. His heart will be broken when his sister gets her box, but not him. This company has hurt my children, and they cannot be bothered to do anything to make it right. They will not even issue a refund in time for Christmas. They might leave nice notes here, but they have clearly shown that they do not care about their customers, many of whom are young children.
