Negative Experience
I'd like to start by saying that I'm not a current, or previous customer of Banning and that this review is my opinion following communications with the company. I emailed Banning about their price match promise, shown on their website. My current dentist offers a lower price and a longer session for a hygiene appointment and I wanted check if Banning were able to match this price. In their first response, they did not mention that they're unable to match the price, but provided a vague answer that stated "cost of such treatments is not determined by the time spent but rather by the outcome achieved" and suggested that my overall dental bill could be more economical with them. I asked for clarification and if they were able to offer a price match or not. In their second response, they stated the price of their dental check ups and that the combined fee of a dental check up and hygiene appointment would likely be higher at my current dentist. They then concluded that they were "unable to offer a better rate on these smaller treatments". In my opinion, the information team's responses were vague, rude and condescending and did not leave me with a clear understanding about why they were unable to price match on this occasion, or the price match process.
