NOT WHAT YOU THINK
Purchased two business class tickets in Nov 2024 for a flight on May 5, 2025. Our flights were on American Airlines. First leg of flight went well. Return on May 22 was a nightmare! At check-in we were told the business class was overbooked and we were downgraded to Economy! My American Gold Advantage membership was no help. American DID NOT ask for volunteers. We just got selected for downgrade, but received a voucher for $600 on a future flight. For the 8 hour flight we received seats against the restroom that would not recline and got to hear the toilet flush for the entire flight! It has been over 35 days and SKYLUX has not given us a refund! According to American Airlines, SKYLUX IS RESPONSIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE REFUND. So far numerous emails to SKYLUX are answered with an email saying “we are looking into it”. WARNING, think twice about using SKYLUX AND AMERICAN AIRLINES. You may end up like we did, pay almost $4,000 and end up in Economy Class.
