I have previously had really good experiences with Gas-Elec and found them to be responsive and efficient. I’m not sure what has happened over the last year but service has gone downhill. When I had my gas safety certificate and other checks done for my property, there was radio silence following the appointment. I received no paperwork and had to chase multiple times before receiving the documentation after 2 weeks, with no explanation offered for the extended delay. Since then, I have tried multiple times to pay the invoice by phoning the accounts team. Each time I am placed on hold for 5 minutes before finally being put through to voicemail. I have left messages via voicemail and email to customer services. Customer services advised that someone would contact me but it has been over two weeks and still no callback. Despite this, they have still sent me a reminder of my outstanding invoice. If they want payment, they will need to contact me as I have wasted enough time chasing them. Terrible service.
