Terrible Experience
Terrible Experience, Beware! I had a horrible experience with Discount Electronics. I bought a Dell laptop at a high price, and within two weeks it stopped working completely. It froze, then shut down and wouldn’t turn back on. When I called customer service, the representative was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused my request for a refund and wouldn’t let me speak with a manager. She promised to send a replacement battery but never did. When I called again, she denied saying that, then finally sent a battery—but it was the wrong size. I ended up having to ship the laptop to their repair center. They replaced the battery and some other parts, but asked for my login password, which I was uncomfortable sharing. Just a couple of months later, the laptop started having the same issues again. When I asked for a refund or to take it to a local repair shop, they refused. I don’t feel safe sending my device back to them again, especially with personal and secure information on it.
