Buying through Electric Rider was fine communication could be better

Contact with Electric Rider was brilliant. I was told Alex the sales Director would call me back at Three and on the dot the phone rang. A very personable man who answered my questions frankly and honestly. He filled me with confidence both for his business and the bikes I was buying. After I placed the order I felt that communication dried up somewhat and the promised delivery slot of 3-5 working days turned into 7. I know that demand is extremely high at the moment and that occasionally things go wrong with admin but I would have liked to be told of extended delivery times. I was also told that an engineer would be with me on the delivery day or soon after. One week after delivery and I still haven’t had word from anyone regarding a possible visit. Once again not the fault of Electric Rider as all the available engineers are self isolating but I shouldn’t have had to ask for that information. Overall on balance it wasn’t a bad experience with Electric rider as what contact I had was good but I think their communication could be improved.
