Only 2 star but the staff deserve better
I really wish I could give Heart Internet more than 2 stars. They have been hosting our website now for more than 8 years and on the whole have provided a good and sort of reliable service. There have been continuous issues with emails 4 or 5 time a year, where I need to strip all our Heart Internet provided email addresses from all our hardware and re-enter them, which will then allow me to once again send emails to our clients. But I can forgive them this as the customer service staff are knowledgeable, friendly and polite. What sadly and unforgivably lets them down as a company is the amount of time it takes to actually get in contact with customer services and the Heart Internet Sales team. If you contact them on their phone number 0207 023 9001, you get a recorded message stating that since 2022 Heart Internet have moved from a landline contact system to a Live Chat and Ticket based system to help and improve customer service and efficiency. Sadly this isn't true if any thing it has made the experience of contacting and dealing with Heart Internet slower and more frustrating for existing and new clients. I write this review while waiting on the Live Chat System to discuss the possibility of extending our existing hosting package (i.e. to give Heart Internet more money). I have currently been waiting over almost an hour to be connected to a member of the sales team. (edited 20 mins later and are still waiting) But what about the ticket system you cry. Last time I used this is took over 24 hours to get a reply. So in conclusion, if you think prompt, quick and reliable customer service is important, then try another company to host your website.
