Bit disheartened with this company…
Bit disheartened with this company after such a great relationship with them. I have had two loans off this company where you can pick the amount you wish to borrow up to £1250. 1st loan i paid back every month on time and that was paid off on 15th September last year. The 2nd loan I had off them, was over four months, which I incidentally paid off two months in advance. When It came to getting another loan off them back in March this year, i was asked on my The Money Platform to give them my debit card details to clarify I am the bank account holder. I rang the money platform to clarify this and they informed me it was just a security check and to go a head and put my card details in of which I did. £1250 was then sent to my bank account. I contacted them money platform about this amount going into my bank account of which I did not apply for and could they take this money back over the phone which they agreed. I received an apology on the phone and the money was taken back off my debit card. I explained to the guy on the phone that I normally am able to pick my own loan amount each time I apply for a loan but on this occasion I never got to pick my own loan amount and received the full amount the money platform allows you to have. Again I got an apology and was informed there technical team would sort the error out on my account with them so I can apply for the loan amount I wish to borrow like I have been able to do on my two previous loans. I was informed this would take about 3 days to get sorted. Its now been over two weeks and I can still not apply for another loan from this company. I have now been informed that they have a cooling off period before you can apply for another loan. So eventhough it was their error and not mine regarding the £1250 being transfered to my bank account which i never applied for and me being honest and repaying the full amount back to them, it's me being penalised through there computer error. This seems extremely unfair considering I have never defaulted on any of my loans. Under the circumstances I feel the money platform should be sorting this issue out if they wish to keep an excellent payer such as myself. The money platform should do better.
