Saving My Life
My experience with Life Stance Stockbridge (Susan Stewart, Therapist), and Lawrenceville (Richard Onoja, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner), have been nothing short of amazing and supportive. Ms. Stewart holds me accountable and when I open up to her, clarity seems to just come. She has provided me with a listening ear, encouragement, strategies and goals. She always recalls at my next appointment. I appreciate her non-judgmental approach to my situation. Even when I've felt like I was going backwards, she showed me how I wasn't and then told me, even if I took a step backwards, it wasn't the end of the world. Because of her, I keep a mood journal, write down helpful nuggets during therapy, and always feel better at the end of my sessions. I highly recommend her. Psychiatric Nurse practioner Richard Onaja is mild mannered but listens very intently. He reviewed my meds and made what I felt like was a great decision about them. My input was important to him. In providing new meds, I appreciated him, for not over medicating me. He watches my status and ask and answers the important questions. I am so appreciative for these two people. They are truly helping me get my life back on track. I do highly recommend both of them and I hope they remain at Life Stance for a long-time. A public thanks to both of them for really caring about my mental health.
