When processing a refund

When processing a refund, they will only do it back to the original card. When I told them that the card is no longer active, they told me to contact them in 8 weeks. So, I waited the 8 weeks and now they tell me that I need a letter from the bank for them to process the refund. I replied a few days ago, but they have ignored me. So it seems that they are stealing my refund. This is ridiculous. See below the actual email they sent: Thank you for your reply and apologies for the inconvenience. Still, if you have not received any refund, then please get back to us with a letter from the bank stating that 'Not received the refund'. So I can help you better. We await your reply.
